Baby Fantasy League: The Results

Remember this? I promised I'd tally the results back in November. I'm nothing if not punctual. Anyhoo, here are the results:

1. Date of birth (5 pts): 10/12/07. Props to Jessica Clark for getting the exact date of Joey's birth! In all fairness, she guessed it before my c-section was even scheduled for this date. Coincidentally, Joey and Jessica's son Liam share the same birthday. 'Magine that.

2. Time of birth (5pts): 5:02pm. Nobody got this on the nose, however, Lib was the closest. She guessed 3pm so we'll give her the 5 points.

3. Birth weight (5 pts): 8lbs, 9oz. Nobody got this one either, however, Miller wasn't that far off with a guess of 8lbs, 8oz. 5 points for J Mill.

4. Gender (10 points): Male, obv. In hindsight, I don't know why I awarded so many points for this one. Anyway, the following peeps scored 10 points with this correct answer: Kelli, Erin, Jessica, Miller, Potsdam Kelly, Steiner and Lib. Sorry, Garvey and Monais =(

5. First swear word (1 point): Lame question. I didn't go through labor and I don't swear. HOWEVER, I have to give half a point to Miller for quoting Frank the Tank. Miller's response: F#$%, S#$%, C#$%. Earmuffs are in order.

6. First meal I ask for after the baby is born (1 point): Mac & Cheese. Lib knows me well.

7. Baby's name (25 points): Joseph Oscar. There were many good guesses (including little Sunil and Monais Disargio, Jr.). Potsdam Kelly was the closest with Oscar. Therefore, she gets 12.5 points. Remember, this is my game. I make the rules.

8. Will baby have a unibrow (2 points): thankfully, no. There were some strong opinions on this one. While many of you thought that Lee's arab genes would dominate, Joey was actually not born with a unibrow. 2 points each for Lib, Monica, Jessica and Potsdam Kelly.

Add 'em all up and here's what we got (from lowest to highest points).

9th place: Garvey - 0 points. Pretty disappointing seeing the game was modeled after him. That's okay, he's still awesome.

8th place: Monica - 2 points. She's still awesome too.

5th place: Miller - 5 points.

4th place (3 way tie): Steiner, Kelli and Erin - 10 points.

3rd place: Jessica - 17 points.

2nd place: Lib (18 points): So close to taking the whole thing!

1st place: Potsdam Kelly - 24. 5 points. Yay, Kel!
