70th post

I don't really have anything excited to share. Instead, to honor my 70th post, here are 70 random facts about me.

1. I love anything argyle.
2. Until the month before he was born, we thought if the baby was a boy, we'd name him Oscar.
3. I'm left-handed.
4. I started dating Lee when I was 19.
5. We got married when I was 27.
6. I turned 21 the day before the new millennium: December 31, 1999.
7. I don't drink.
8. I'm fiercely proud of my Irish heritage.
9. I've been in three weddings: both sisters and my sister-in-law.
10. My confirmation name is Frances.
11. I'm still best friends with Libby after 17 years of being best friends!
12. I took my driver's test on a stick shift.
13. I was named to the all-American lacrosse team in high school.
14. My first car was named Greta the Jetta.
15. I shave my legs every day without fail.
16. I'm addicted to top-40 radio stations and pretty ashamed of it.
17. My parents got AOL the year it came out and my screen name was LaxinMeg.
18. I loooooove hot dogs.
19. I gave up caffeine on June 22, 2006 and haven't had a drop since.
20. I went skiing every Sunday with my parents growing up.
21. I hate skiing.
22. My ears kinda come to a point, making me resemble a vulcan.
23. I drool like crazy when I sleep.
24. I have two goddaughters.
25. I was voted Always Seen Eating of Clarence High School's Class of 1997.
26. I played french horn in the high school band.
27. I sucked at playing the french horn.
28. My second toe is slightly longer than my big toe on both feet.
29. I loathe raisins.
30. I'm a total blog stalker.
31. I sincerely wonder who actually reads my blog, if anyone.
32. I also stalk registries. Whenever someone I know is getting married or having a baby, I will look at their registries constantly. Even if I'm not invited to the corresponding shower(s).
33. I had a cabbage patch kid named Bianca Edna.
34. I wish I knew how to knit those funky scarves that everyone wears.
35. I'm only half-way done with this list and it's getting hard to come up with items.
36. My name is Megan, and I'm a shopaholic.
37. My DVR is almost always at capacity filled with such ridiculous shows as Beverly Hills, 90210; Jon & Kate Plus Eight; Wife Swap; I Wanna Work for Diddy, etc.
38. I have to sleep with the fan on.
39. The first time I was on a plane was when lib and I went to Florida in 1992.
40. I've never been on a train.
41. I used to go tanning...a lot. I miss how I look after tanning.
42. I don't like listening to people chew.
43. I can NOT wear thong underwear.
44. I wonder if I have never bought the proper kind of thong because they always hurt me.
45. When I have a cold, I always have tissues shoved up my nose when people aren't looking.
46. I had Joey via c-section.
47. I'm the youngest of four kids.
48. I am always tired.
49. I'm thinking of deleting my MySpace account.
50. I usually under-estimate myself.
51. When I'm nervous, I always try and make an awkward joke using sarcasm.
52. I love the smell of cedar.
53. I just ate lunch (veggie lo mein and a cookie) but I'm still hungry.
54. I have a tendency to shorten people's names to just the first syllable. Kelli: Kel. Libby: Lib. Bridget: Bridge. Julie: Jules. You get the point.
55. I enjoy gossip more than I should.
56. I had post-pardum depression :(
57. I'm very proud that I'm from Clarence.
58. I think I'm going to end at 58 because this is hard and I'm getting bored!
